NORMAN LEES
9th September1950 - 8th April 2000
Norman Lees was Killed on Saturday 8th April, while checking out the new owner of this rare two seat version of this world war two fighter.
Norman was well known for his displays in vintage aircraft, he served in the Royal Navy and fought in the Falklands Conflict
I had the honour to be part of the "RADIAL PAIR" display team in the early 1990s, the team was formed after Norman and fellow Harvard owner Gary Numan both members of the famous"HARVARD FORMATION TEAM" decided it was time for a change and use the Harvards for a pair's aerobatic display which flew at airshows in the UK and Europe for three seasons.

At the time of his death Norman was flying 747s for Virgin Atlantic
Norman was a dear friend and our hearts go out to his family.
